Hard clear coat with good film build, though aluminium panels can read lower than steel. PTS (Paint to Sample) colours are common and warrant extra caution.

How we prep a Porsche before coating
Preparation is the job. The coating is the last hour of it.

Full inspection under LED and swirl-finder lighting, with paint depth readings recorded panel by panel.

Two-bucket hand wash, wheels and arches degreased, badges and shuts cleaned out.

Chemical iron and industrial fallout removal, then a clay treatment to lift bonded contamination.

Tape-up of trim, rubbers and sensitive edges before any machine work.

Depth readings recorded panel by panel and provided at handover, with substrate type noted.

Conservative correction plan agreed with you before machine work begins — nothing aggressive without a conversation.

Wheels, calipers and lower panels decontaminated and coated to handle brake dust.

Panel wipe with a coating-safe solvent to strip polishing oils and reveal the true finish.

Fireball ceramic coating applied by hand, levelled panel by panel under controlled lighting.

IR / controlled cure, then a final inspection and handover pack with aftercare instructions.
